Benidorm’s famous annual Fancy Dress Party takes place on the Thursday after the November Fiestas. Thousands of British people, both residents and visitors are joined by people of other nationalities to participate in Europe’s biggest fancy dress street party.

The Fallas is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of San José (Saint Joseph) in the Valencian Community. The word Fallas (or Falles in Valenciano) can refer either to the celebrations themselves or to the giant, colourful papier-mâché effigies which are eventually burnt on the final night of the celebrations.

Calpe, also known as “Little Gibraltar” for its prominent rock, the “Peñon de Ifach” that protects the port is the destination for this lovely boat trip. Famous for its fish restaurants and endless white sandy beaches, Calpe is the perfect place to spend a few hours away from Benidorm. 

A 1 hour ride through Spanish countryside. The Sierra Helada Equestrian Centre is the first of its kind in the area, and offers an exciting opportunity to experience the beauty of the Sierra Helada nature reserve on horseback.

One of the area’s iconic landmarks, La Isla de Benidorm, as it’s know in Spanish, is a nature reserve located 3.5km from Benidorm’s beach. The island is home to several species of birds, including European storm petrels, peregrine falcons and Sardinian warblers, amongst others.
