The spectacular Three Kings procession is one of the highlights of Benidorm’s Christmas calendar, particularly for children, as it marks the arrival of their presents. The costumed trio ride through the streets, throwing sweets into the buzzing crowds.

The Fallas is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of San José (Saint Joseph) in the Valencian Community. The word Fallas (or Falles in Valenciano) can refer either to the celebrations themselves or to the giant, colourful papier-mâché effigies which are eventually burnt on the final night of the celebrations.

Every November, Benidorm celebrate’s its Fiestas Mayores Patronales in honour of the Virgen del Sufragio and San Jaime. The fiestas begin on the weekend of November’s second Sunday and end the following Wednesday.

A fun and interesting way to discover hidden parts of Benidorm whilst learning about the history of this world-famous holiday resort. No experience necessary. One of the area’s iconic landmarks, La Isla de Benidorm, as it’s know in Spanish, is a nature reserve located 3.5km from Benidorm’s beach. The island is home to several species of birds, including European storm petrels, peregrine falcons and Sardinian warblers, amongst others.
