This fortified village perched precariously on a mountain top, is surrounded by some of the highest points in the province of Alicante, the Sierra Aixorta, Sierra Aitana and Sierra Serrella. Enjoy around three hours of free time to explore this beautiful town.

The Moors and Christians Fiesta (Moros y Cristianos) is a tradition dating back to the 16th Century, and commemorates Christians’ triumph after the great battle which took place in the 13th Century, ending the Moors’ 800 year rule of Spain.

The Fallas is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of San José (Saint Joseph) in the Valencian Community. The word Fallas (or Falles in Valenciano) can refer either to the celebrations themselves or to the giant, colourful papier-mâché effigies which are eventually burnt on the final night of the celebrations.

Enjoy the Elvis extravaganza show at the Benidorm Palace on Sunday 26th April 2026.  Now in its 16th year this popular festival will be staging the grand finale show at the stunning Benidorm Palace.

Every November, Benidorm celebrate’s its Fiestas Mayores Patronales in honour of the Virgen del Sufragio and San Jaime. The fiestas begin on the weekend of November’s second Sunday and end the following Wednesday.
