Get collected by coach at your chosen start point. Once everyone is onboard, take the motorway to Valencia, with a journey time of approximately two hours, accompanied by an English-speaking representative. Make a short “comfort break” en-route. Once in Valencia, you’ll be dropped off at the Torres de Serrano which is right in the heart of the City, walking distance from the Cathedral, Central Market, and shops that Valencia is famous for. For those wishing to explore the city at their own leisure, you’ll have ample free time to do so.
The City was founded as a Roman colony in 138BC. It was later occupied by Moroccan and Arab Moors before being conquered by the Christian King James I of Aragon. Valencia has been Spain’s capital city twice and its long history means it’s steeped in art and culture, which is reflected in its popular traditions, such as the Fallas fiestas which were declared Fiestas of National Tourist Interest in 1965.
Whatever way you want to spend your day, you’ll not be disappointed. You’ll arrive back in Calpe around 7:30pm
Optional extras include a guided walking tour of the city with an oficial guide, the Oceanografic sea-life center, Mestalla Forever, which is a guided tour of Valencia’s premier league football club’s stadium, and a guided walking tour of the historical party of teh city with an official guide.
